The Standard USB and Bluetooth Tag-ie handsets are supplied with a fully featured PC software package.  (Note:  Trader handsets are supplied with the Tag-ie Trader software package). This software is visually similar to a spread sheet, with one screen line per animal. 

The software fully supports the import and export of data to the Tag-ie handset via USB, Bluetooth and RS232, and data can  be imported and exported to most spread sheets using CSV format. It can also accept data from Auctioneer systems such as Gavellog and Newline using CSV format.

This software has a large number of features to support most applications from the smallholder to the commercial or contract farmer. 

It has a fully integrated holding register which is synchronised to animal movements making updating your holding register semi automatic. This holding register is also linked to a software generated AML1 Form, and a list of all the EID tags in each movement is ‘pinned’ to the AML1 and a record made in your holding register. 

Lambing histories are fully catered for, from scanned ewes to sale of lambs, keeping a year by year history of lambing performance for each ewe.  Lamb births can be linked to a ewe's tag number in the field, along with birth date, ewe or ram lambs born, and spray on number if used.    Lambs can be 'weaned' from ewes by marking them in the software and 'shedding' them to a new database if required. 

A weighing history along with daily weight gains (calculated) can be maintained for each animal, as well as full medicine and treatment history.

The database in standard format can support 3,000 animals, and Tag-ie also supports multiple farms, each farm (or Holding Number) being an independent database. Data can be freely moved between farms using powerful editing facilities, these moves being tracked in the individual holding registers.

There are no on-going annual charges for this software, and you can copy the software to a second machine if required. 24/7 telephone and email support is standard.
