Read Range - JRC testing laboratories use a 25mm tag for
HDX and a 20mm tag for FDX. Typical read ranges are greater than 13cm
FDX, and greater than 18cm HDX. Please note read range is
significantly reduced using smaller tags, and will also vary according
to the tag manufacturer, hence these figures are only guidelines.
In-built battery charger.
Battery is a Rechargeable 2.2 Ah Lithium Ion giving 8-12 hours use, with
2.5 hour full
battery recharge time .
Either USB or
Bluetooth 2.1 and USB Enabled (RS232 or WiFi
802.11 b/g also available as an option).
Drop
resistant to 1m, and water resistant. Conforms to ISO11784/5,
ISO24631-6 (draft), CE Meets EN50082-1 and EN50022, and EC 21/2004 as
appropriate. Note, rubber boot must be fitted for drop test.
PC requirements - Minimum of 200 MB of free hard disk space and 64 MB
of free RAM. For Bluetooth to work, you really need Windows 7, XP or
Vista, although it may be made to work on Windows 2000 and Windows 98
with suitable drivers. Minimum recommended screen resolution 1024 x
768. USB lead supplied as standard.
